After completing the Basic course, I can only warmly recommend SheCodes. The division of topics such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript into individual, short learning sequences and exercises is very intuitive. This means everyone can learn at their own pace and review what they have learned over and over again. Sensational concept!
Basic Add-on was a fun addition to learning more about coding. I love the styling part of my project, it makes my creativity come out. Again it was easy to understand and well thought out.

When I started this journey, I only knew how to turn on my computer and search for things on the internet. I had no idea of the inner workings of the global web and, although I might not yet be a master at coding, I'm proud to report that I can do so much more than type a question on a search engine and the skills I've learnt thus far will go a long way in whichever way I choose to use them in my world. I am absolutely looking forward to doing more and learning more.

Learning to build a website using a design made in Figma was really nice. Making a website for my favourite travel spot, Koh Samet, was a joy. Now, I'm excited to go back, and I hope my website inspires others to visit too. I totally recommend the course for anyone looking to learn to put design concepts into reality.

Definitely a very challenging workshop. It was nice to see how powerful React can be and be able to build a weather app from scratch however, it felt very frustrating and some of the lessons seemed just like bits of random pieces of information. I found a lot of youtube tutorials were actually more helpful. Nevertheless, the team was always there to help and solve approached issues. I am very happy to have this introduction to React but it’s definitely not enough to feel fully comfortable using it.

Building my first React application was both challenging and exhilarating. Each new concept I grasped, from state management to JSX syntax, opened up new possibilities for what I could create. I've been thinking about switching careers, and I came across SheCodes by chance. I've always enjoyed coding, but I've struggled to find clear information online and often felt lost trying to learn on my own. Luckily, SheCodes offers a complete course at a reasonable price compared to other options. While it was tough at times and I had to search for extra help online during the course, I managed to create my first project: a small webpage that I'm really proud of! I cannot believe how far I've come with SheCodes. It gets better with each passing day. I am a far better developer than when I was busy with only HTML and CSS, just starting off. I learned so much, and even though there is still a long way to go, I feel very confident now. It seems hard at first, but it does get better with time. I look at my project and I truly cannot believe that I built that. As the late Nelson Mandela would say, "It always seems impossible until it is done". This whole testimony stays true to those words that you cannot be afraid of a stone that you have not yet moved. I cannot wait to expand and sharpen my knowledge in the Tech Space!!

Again it was a workshop where I learned valuable skills. I also could practice the techniques I learned in previous courses. It is rewarding to see the AI poem generator coming to life and providing the user with funny content ;) The hardest part for me was to describe the context in a way that would make AI deliver expected results. This was sometimes a bit annoying, because I already felt that the content provided was extremely detailed, plus I followed the guidance of Matt. So definetely a lot of patience may be necessary to test out ideas. Maybe it comes with more experience. All in all I liked the workshop and I am looking forward to the next courses.
